b6- Design context presentation

I want to look at a range of things within my design context investigation as I feel that what I look at will help push my professional practice.


I have split the content up into 4 sections:


Layout:

• Focussed investigation at editorial design ( What it is and what is out there?
• Fundamentals of layout
• A look at various trends and how they are demonstrated in current design, compare these to previous design movements.

Typography:

• How typography is used within editorial layout
• Typography within branding (focus on letter forms)

Print:

• Investigation of print - 'The process' (how it works?)
• Low Fi printing
• High end printing (Similarities and differences)
• Stocks and finishes within print
