b2- What is metamorphosis?

Dictionary definition

Metamorphosis:

  •  a change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means: his metamorphosis from presidential candidate to talk-show host.

ORIGIN late Middle English: via Latin from Greek metamorphōsis, from metamorphoun transform, change shape.

Metamorphosis is often associated with life cycles within nature such as the transformation of a caterpillar to a butterfly. What I want to do is steer clear of this and focus on typography as the imagery, looking at the letterforms and how they can change.
